Tidechangers Celebrate Earth Day with a Beach Cleanup at Dolphin Park!
This past Saturday, our Westside and Flour Bluff Tidechangers celebrated Earth Day by joining a beach cleanup at Dolphin Park in North Beach, Corpus Christi! We were honored to be invited by Paradise Real Estate to be part of this incredible event, working alongside others to take care of God’s creation and serve our community.
At Majesty Outdoors, mentorship isn't just about outdoor adventures, it's about building character, responsibility, and a heart for service. Experiences like this beach cleanup are a vital part of how we teach our Tidechangers to live out their faith in practical ways.
From the very beginning, God called us to care for His creation. Genesis 2:15, "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it." While Dolphin Park might not be Eden, it’s still a part of His masterpiece, and it’s up to us to protect and preserve it.
Armed with gloves, trash bags, and joyful hearts, our Tidechangers spent the morning picking up debris, helping restore beauty to the shoreline, and learning that small acts of service can have a big impact. Through opportunities like this, they learn that stewardship, hard work, and teamwork are all part of being a leader, and a light for Christ in the world.
A huge thank you to Paradise Real Estate for inviting us to take part in this Earth Day effort! Your leadership and love for the community made it possible for our youth to step up and make a real difference.
And just for fun: Did you know the Railroad Vine (which grows all along our Texas beaches) has leaves that have been used to treat jellyfish stings? God’s creation is full of incredible surprises, sometimes even natural first aid kits hidden in the sand!
We’re so proud of our Tidechangers for showing that taking care of the world and serving others go hand in hand. As they continue to grow, we pray they will always remember that making a difference for God’s kingdom starts with being faithful in the little things.
